MPOWERD

MPOWERD created the world’s first inflatable solar light. Lightweight, inflatable, solar powered, and waterproof, the Luci light is a must-have for outdoor enthusiasts.

As a freelance copywriter for MPOWERD, I conducted a product description overhaul, produced copy and direction for marketing campaigns, wrote copy for B2B and B2C initiatives (press releases, email, blog, sales sheets, product descriptions, website), and more ad-hoc and day-to-day copy tasks.

OpenSponsorship

OpenSponsorship is a sports marketing platform that connects brands and athletes for paid sponsorship opportunities.

As a freelance marketing manager for OpenSponsorship, I set up their marketing department within the construct of a three-month consultancy. I facilitated the switch from Salesforce to HubSpot, set up the new CRM (email journeys, landing pages, contact flows), designed and ran paid marketing initiatives (Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Adwords), conducted a full website copy audit, wrote blog posts, case studies, and white pages, and more ad-hoc and day-to-day marketing tasks.

FleetWit

FleetWit is a trivia gaming app that lets players compete against each other for cash prizes.

As the Director of Marketing at FleetWit, I built and managed a 4-person marketing team that consistently met and exceeded monthly goals.

From a B2B perspective, I scouted, landed, and managed official celebrity partnerships (Ken Jennings, Rachel Riley, Richard Sherman, Bob Menery), as well as unofficial collaborations (Mark Labbett, Buzzy Cohen, Austin Tyler, and more), I evaluated and managed product launches in new markets (UK, Australia, Europe) with various stakeholders, I screened and managed new and existing B2B relationships (data attribution partners, PR agencies, media partners, and more), and other high-level and day-to-day marketing tasks.
